BIOSKETCH

Dr. Bjazevic completed her medical school at the University of Calgary and her Urology residency training at the University of Manitoba.  Following this, she attended Western University where she completed two-years of fellowship training in Endourology and attained a Master of Science in Surgery.  She is currently pursuing a Master of Health Professions Education degree from the University of Maastricht.  Dr. Bjazevic has received several awards throughout her academic and research career, most recently being awarded the Outstanding Graduate Scholar Award by the American Urological Association’s Urology Care Foundation and the Canadian Urological Association Scholarship Foundation’s Early Investigator Research Grant. 

Dr. Bjazevic is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, in the Division of Urology at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University. Her clinical practice is primarily focused on Endourology, urinary stone disease, and minimally invasive surgery for benign kidney disease.  Dr. Bjazevic has research interests in the pathogenesis and treatment of urinary stone disease and medical education.
